Job summary

Bupa UK at Church Farm Care Home in East Wittering is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a dedicated team and provide person-centred care to residents. You will oversee daily unit operations, issue medications, review care plans, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in care or working towards it.
• Motivated, positive with strong interpersonal skills.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit.
• Issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and keeping records.
• Lead and manage a team of Care Assistants, including shift handovers.
• Support training and supervision of new staff.
• Build relationships with residents, families, and external teams.
• Assist residents with personal care duties.
