Job summary

Care South is seeking a Senior Care & Support Assistant in Poole to provide day-to-day supervision and support to Care Assistants. This role emphasizes delivering personalized care tailored to individual needs and fostering a positive team culture.

Position

Senior Care & Support Assistant
Location: Elizabeth House, Dolbery Road, Parkstone, Poole BH12 4PX
Pay: £13.80 per hour
Hours: Full‑time and part‑time available, including alternate weekend working.
Shift pattern: 07:45 – 20:00.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day supervision and support to Care Assistants.
• Deliver personalised care tailored to individual needs and preferences.
• Promote independence and dignity in all aspects of care.
• Act as a point of escalation for concerns or incidents.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a care setting, including care planning and medication administration.

• Hold, or be willing to work towards, an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
