Job summary

Balhousie Care Group in Bonnybridge is seeking a Senior Carer to deliver person-centred care, attending to residents' physical, emotional and social needs, and to supervise care assistants alongside the nurse on duty.

You will hold SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or an Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care; experience in dementia care is desirable. Successful candidates will undergo PVG checks and must be eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Experience in person-centred care planning and knowledge of dementia desirable.
• PVG check and UK work eligibility are required; sponsorship is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Support the clinical team with medication administration, assessments, care plans and care reviews.
• Supervise and mentor other Care Assistants.
• Assist with personal care activities such as washing, dressing and meals.
