Senior Care Professional required for a CQC rated ‘Outstanding’ domiciliary care company looking to join our friendly and professional team!
At Home Instead, you'll have the opportunity to provide high quality care and support to clients, helping them live their best lives every day and provide support to our dedicated team of Care Professionals.
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Care Professional to work circa 35 hours per week including a mix of predominantly afternoon and evening shifts, including alternate weekends, to support with the on-boarding of new clients and provide support to existing clients and Care Professionals.
A successful candidate must have a driving licence with access to their own transport.

Your Role and Responsibilities as a Senior Care Assistant:
- Training and mentoring new Care Professionals and providing ongoing support.
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Helping with meal preparation and medication reminders.
- Assisting with light housekeeping and errands.
- Supporting clients with mobility and physical activities.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate team members.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- Providing support to Care Professionals through introductions and shadow visits.
Qualifications
What We Look For in You, Our Senior Care Assistant:
- Adaptability and a personable nature.
- Good communication skills and able to work collaboratively.
- Prepared to respond to emergencies and to report concerns to the Registered Care Manager.
- Genuine willingness to prioritise the well-being of others.
- Valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for work.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
