We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Care Practitioner to join our team at the brand-new Manor Park Care Home, opening in mid-September in the heart of Malton.

As a Senior Care Practitioner, you will play a key leadership role within the care team, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while mentoring and guiding junior colleagues. You’ll be a role model for best practice and help ensure that every resident receives the dignity, respect, and compassion they deserve.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new home from the very beginning and help shape a positive, professional, and caring culture.

Key Responsibilities.

• Lead by example in delivering exceptional personal care and support to residents.
• Support the Care Team Leader and Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care floor.
• Administer medication safely and accurately in line with policies and training.
• Mentor and support Care Practitioners and new team members.
• Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate care records and contribute to care planning and reviews.
• Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in line with health and safety standards.
• Support residents with daily living activities, encouraging independence and engagement.
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies as needed.

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
