Senior Care Practitioner

Salary: £32,000 per annum

Location: West Bromwich

Overview of the Role:

RMSK Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Practitioner to take on a pivotal role within our residential home. As a Senior Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for overseeing the home's operations in the absence of the Deputy/Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with current legislation and fostering a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) with a commitment to pursuing Level 5 qualifications.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Children s Homes Regulations 2015 and safeguarding practices.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to support and motivate a team.
  • Hold excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be capable of managing sensitive situations professionally.
  • Exhibit a compassionate approach to care, prioritising the welfare and rights of children at all times.
  • Experience in childcare practice adhering to trauma-informed care principles is preferred.
  • Be proactive in managing health and safety standards and compliance within the home.

Key Responsibilities:
