Job summary

Hill Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RMNH) to lead nursing care within the Home Manager’s team. You will supervise staff, ensure comprehensive care planning, and coordinate with GPs and health professionals.

The role requires a 1st Level Nurse and adherence to NMC guidelines, with strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate approach to residents and their families.

Qualifications

• 1st Level Nurse qualification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable).
• Genuine interest in working with the relevant Client group.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain and develop Clients' Care Plans in collaboration with Relatives and health professionals.
• Assess Clients' care needs and provide health supervision and direct Nursing Care when required.
• Ensure accurate records and individualised Care Plans reviewed bi-annually or as needed.
• Administer prescribed medicines in line with policy and NMC guidelines.
• Participate in Staff and Client meetings and maintain open communication with the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain budgetary discipline by monitoring consumables and resources.
• Actively contribute to marketing and presentation of the Care Home in the local community.
