Job summary

Stretton Hall Care Home is seeking an experienced registered nurse (RGN/RMN) to lead and support our care team. Youll receive comprehensive training to adapt to nursing in a care home and ongoing development to progress your career.

We require valid NMC registration, a minimum of 1 year as a Registered Nurse, strong leadership, and experience with PCS/electronic care planning. The role offers a bank contract with paid breaks and opportunities for development at the home.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration (RGN/RMN).
• Minimum 1 year as a Registered Nurse.
• Understanding of CQC standards/legislation.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with PCS and electronic care planning.
• Inspire, motivate and lead by example.
• Flexible approach to rota needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality nursing care to residents.
• Conduct clinical assessments and plan appropriate care.
• Promote rights and needs of carers and people with dementia.
• Liaise with GPs and health professionals to support residents.
• Communicate clinical decisions clearly to the team and carers.
• Maintain clinical records and secure timely data.
• Utilise IT systems for resident, workforce and resource data.
