Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team in Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You’ll plan and implement compassionate care, support residents and their families, and work with a Registered Nurse and Care Manager to ensure personalised care plans.

You will help residents maintain independence, provide stimulating activities, and keep precise records while delivering kindness and high standards daily.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care required.
• Willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification.
• Background in person-centred care planning and dementia care knowledge.
• Strong record-keeping and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement care that gives residents security, dignity and independence.
• Lead a team of Care Assistants and liaise with Registered Nurse and Care Manager.
• Maintain accurate records and build strong team relationships.
• Provide social and recreational activities to stimulate residents; administer medications as needed.
