Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. You will lead a team of care assistants, work with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, and deliver personalised care plans ensuring dignity and independence for residents.

Responsibilities include administering medication, maintaining records, and engaging residents in social activities to stimulate physical and mental wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care and be prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification.
• Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
• Excellent record keeping and time management are essential.
• A positive energy and ability to get along with people are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care.
• Assist Registered Nurse and Care Manager in daily care provision.
• Plan and implement personalised care plans and activities for residents.
• Administer medication as trained and maintain accurate records.
