Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Senior Carer, Team Leader or similar role within a care home or residential setting.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach.
• Ability to support and motivate staff while ensuring high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality personal care and support to residents, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Supervise, mentor and support junior care staff, promoting best practice.
• Develop, implement and review person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Monitor and report residents’ condition to nursing staff or management.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in audits, handovers and team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding policies.
