Job summary

The Senior Carer will support the Home Manager or Deputy Manager, coordinate care plans, monitor care delivery, and promote a respectful, dignified environment for residents, with emphasis on training

Qualifications

• QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Minimum of two years in a care position.
• Proven track record leading, empowering and motivating a care team.
• Dementia care knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with all care aspects within the home.
• Support recruitment and training of the care team and ensure competency.
• Inspire the team to deliver exceptional care outcomes.
• Supervise performance reviews and development planning for staff.
• Maintain professional conduct with residents, staff and visitors.
• Attend training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Ensure all team members attend required training.
