Job summary

Silvercrest Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Nights) for their Swansea care home. A leadership role supporting the delivery of high‑quality care while guiding the care team on night shifts. This is a 44‑hour contract offering ongoing training, progression, and social care welfare benefits.

Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience or be working towards QCF Level 3, with excellent communication and a compassionate, professional approach to resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in care environments, with supervisory potential.
• Willingness to work towards QCF Level 3.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the care team during shifts.
• Provide hands-on care and support to residents.
• Mentor colleagues and support supervision processes.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and promote person-centred care.
• Administer medication where trained and authorised.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
