Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group Ltd in Sunderland is looking for a Senior Care Assistant to care for residents with dignity, compassion and professionalism. You will support physical, psychological and social needs, and assist with personal care, dressing and meals.

We welcome applicants with prior care home experience, ability to lead a team, and flexible availability across shifts. Level 2 is required and Level 3 qualification should be pursued if not yet obtained, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading a team.
• A committed and organised approach.
• A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible to work shifts.
• Previous experience working in a Care Home environment.
• Experience of working as a Senior Care Assistant.
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care desirable.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents' physical, psychological and social needs.
• Assist residents with personal care activities, washing and dressing.
