Location: Chaucer House, Canterbury

Pay: £14.32 – £14.82 per hour

Job Type: 36 hours per week, Permanent

Avante Care & Support, a trusted charity supporting over 1,000 older people, is on the lookout for a compassionate and dynamic Senior Care Lead to join our team. Your Role

As a Senior Care Lead, you'll play a key leadership role, ensuring the highest standards of care delivery and team performance. You'll:

  • Lead and inspire a team of Care Assistants to deliver top-quality, person-centred care.
  • Provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents in line with Avante’s Philosophy of Care and the Eden Alternative.
  • Supervise and manage the home in the absence of senior management.
  • Mentor and train staff, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for residents and colleagues.
What We’re Looking For

You’re a natural leader with:

  • A passion for improving lives and creating meaningful connections.
  • An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (required).
  • A professional, kind, and proactive approach.
