Job summary

Cedar Lodge Care Home, Taunton, Somerset, is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead in delivering high-quality, person-centred care within a specialist complex setting. The role focuses on safe, consistent care and supporting residents with diverse physical and mental health needs.

You will oversee shifts, guide the team, manage medication administration, maintain records, and ensure excellent communication across the wider team. A confident, organised, and compassionate candidate is ideal.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards.
• Medication training and competency in administration.
• Experience supporting or leading within a care environment.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• A calm, reliable and compassionate approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
