Connaught Care Collection is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our luxury care home group in Havant. You will lead on the floor, mentor care assistants, and ensure exemplary, person-centred care for residents, including those living with dementia.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant with a Level 3.
• Calm, confident presence and natural ability to lead with empathy and integrity.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Genuine passion for working with older adults and those living with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding person-centred care while leading by example across the shift.
• Support and mentor care assistants, ensuring best practice and kindness underpin everything.
• Assist with medication administration, care plans, risk assessments and handovers.
• Be the senior point of contact on the floor—managing priorities and supporting the team in the moment.
• Build trusted relationships with residents and their families, offering reassurance, empathy and clear communication.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold the highest standards of care, dignity, and respect.
