Job description

Are you a driven and experienced Senior Care Coordinator ready to take the next step in your career? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established domiciliary care provider in Burnley, with a clear progression path to Care Manager within six months.

We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of rota planning, bidding for work, and working closely with the local authority to bring on new care packages. If you’re ambitious, organised, and passionate about high-quality care, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the daily operations of a growing domiciliary care service.
  2. Develop and manage staff rotas effectively, ensuring continuity of care.
  3. Liaise with local authorities and other stakeholders to secure and implement new care packages.
  4. Field on-call duties (not 24/7) and oversee night check-ins, completed by 10pm.
  5. Contribute to compliance with CQC standards and support the future growth of the service.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in a senior coordination or supervisory role within domiciliary care.
  2. Strong knowledge of rota systems and coordinating care delivery.
  3. Understanding of the bidding process for new care packages and local authority frameworks.
  4. Leadership potential and a clear desire to progress into a management role.
  5. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
