Pay & Hours:
- £15.70 per hour
- 33.45 hrs per week
- Working on a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend)
- £500 welcome bonus (£250 to be paid at 2 milestones).
The Role:
You will oversee the care team and ensure the safe delivery of care, support and medication with all standards met during your shift. You will be fully supported by both the Deputy and Residential Manager. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coach and mentor new and existing staff
- Review care plans
- Prepare, administer, store, record and order medication
- Personal care (washing, dressing, oral hygiene)
- Maintain and develop professional relations with families
- Reporting any safeguarding concerns
- Promote independence of our residents at all times to improve their quality of life
About you:
- Have an NVQ Level 2 in Care however this is not essential as our Team Leader Development Programme will support those wanting to take the next step in their career
- Be confident in supervising others and be able to manage/prioritise workloads
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Have a positive attitude.

About Us:
Hampden House is a 66-bed purpose-built nursing home located within the prestigious Duchy Estate. The home provides personal and nursing care, short-stays, and end-of-life care.
Recently, a new “memory suite” was opened for residents with dementia, while the rest of the home offers a hotel-like atmosphere, allowing residents to come and go freely. The home features spacious communal areas, a courtyard, and is undergoing renovations to enhance its homely environment.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
