36 hours per week • 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am

About the Role

We are partnering with a beautiful, well-established elderly care home in Halstead, Essex, to recruit a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join their team. Set in peaceful surroundings and known for its warm, homely feel, this home offers residential, dementia, and nursing care. The role involves supporting residents with daily living, overseeing the care team on shift, and maintaining a high standard of person-centred care. Whether on days or nights, you will be an essential part of ensuring residents feel safe, respected, and well looked after.

Responsibilities
  • Support residents with daily living tasks and ensure their comfort and wellbeing on shift.
  • Oversee and lead the care team on your shift to maintain high standards of care.
  • Contribute to person-centred care planning and ensure care plans are followed.
  • Assist with medication administration in line with policy and training.
What we're looking for
