Senior Care Assistant - Nights
Salary: £14.80 per hour + Incentives
Hours: Full Time – 3-4 x 7:00 pm to 7:00 am shifts per week (including some weekends)
Location: Walkeringham

About the Role:
Merco are proud to represent a renowned care home group in their search for a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join their night team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Care Assistants who are looking to advance their careers and work within a highly regarded care home setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a care team, ensuring the delivery of Person-Centred Care, and providing support during the night shift in a residential/nursing home environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent)
  • A minimum of two years’ experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting
  • Strong understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning principles
  • Knowledge of the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, including the ability to recognize signs of abuse and follow the correct procedures for handling allegations
  • Must live within 30 minutes of the home to ensure prompt attendance
