About the Role

Orchard Care Homes is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team on night shifts. This is a permanent position with flexible hours ranging from 22 to 44 hours per week.

Key Details

• Shift Type: Nights
• Shift Structure: 22 to 44 hours per week
• Closing Date: 30 June 2025
• Pay Rate: £13.80 per hour (NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate personalized care for residents.
• Administer medication safely with appropriate training.
• Support and supervise care team members.
• Ensure residents' dignity, privacy, independence, and rights are maintained.
• Collaborate with external professionals, residents, and their families.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in elderly or dementia care preferred.
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable; Level 2 qualified candidates will be supported to achieve Level 3.
