Senior Care Assistant - Nights
Salary: £15.09 per hour + Incentives
Hours: Full Time – 7:00 pm to 7:00 am (Including alternate weekends)
Location: Sleaford

About the Role:
Merco are delighted to represent a renowned care home group in their search for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join their night shift team. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate and skilled Care Assistants looking to progress in their careers and contribute to high-quality care in a respected residential/nursing home setting. The successful candidate will lead a team during the night shift, ensuring Person-Centred Care is delivered and supporting residents' needs in a safe and supportive environment.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent)
  • A minimum of two years’ experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting
  • Strong understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning principles
  • Knowledge of the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, including the ability to recognize signs of abuse and follow the correct procedures for handling allegations
  • Must live within 30 minutes of the home to ensure prompt attendance
