A healthcare provider in Nuneaton is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support the Care team in delivering high standards of personal care. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care and at least 2 years' experience in a similar environment. Responsibilities include monitoring resident wellbeing, implementing care plans, and supervising care staff. This is a role for a Senior Care Assistant to support and work alongside the Care team at Avery Healthcare in Nuneaton to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support the Care team in delivering high-quality personal care to residents. This will involve monitoring resident wellbeing, implementing and evaluating person-centered care plans, supporting with medication requirements, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and healthcare professionals. You will also be responsible for supervising and supporting the development of care staff. To be successful in this role, you will need to have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. A positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff is essential.
