Mariposa & Papillon Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Nights) at Sovereign Lodge, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. You will lead a small night team, delivering high‑quality care and supporting residents to live happier, healthier and more independent lives.

You’ll need a Health and Social Care Level 3 qualification, strong English and numeracy, and a passion for mentoring colleagues to excel in a senior role.

At Sovereign Lodge, we’re searching for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our night team and support our residents in living happy, healthy and independent lives. If you’ve got experience in care and have previously helped to supervise a team, this could be the perfect role for you. You’ll also need a Health and Social Care qualification (Level 3) so if you’re caring, organised and ready to step into a senior role at Mariposa Care, we’d love to hear from you!

What’s the job about?

As a Senior Carer, you’ll combine hands‑on care with supervisory duties. It’s all about ensuring that every resident receives the very best care while mentoring and supporting your colleagues to be their best. Here’s a flavour of what you’ll be doing:
