  • Shifts: 8pm-8am, includes weekend working on a rolling rota

This stunning 53-bed home opened just 2 years ago and offers its residents state-of-the-art facilities unrivalled in the area, to include a coffee shop/bistro, hair & nail salon, separate dining and lounge areas and landscaped gardens, whilst at the same time providing exceptional standards of care supported by the very latest care planning and nurse-call technology.

Here at Ribble Court, we provide high-quality specialist/complex nursing care and residential dementia care on separate floors, with a person-centred focus based on the needs and wishes of the residents maintained at all times.

As a Senior Care Assistant at our home, your role may involve:

  • Undertaking any necessary training
  • Supporting our residents with personal care and hygiene, eating, and getting involved with daily activities
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Supporting our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focused on their individual hobbies, preferences and abilities
  • Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
  • Senior-level duties to support the Home Manager, which may involve: staff supervisions, appraisals, record-keeping, liaising with outside professionals, interviewing etc.

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.

What are we looking for?

  • Supervisory/leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting
  • A positive outlook and warm personality
  • Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards
  • Confident in record-keeping and the use of various technologies
  • Able to remain calm and guide colleagues under pressure
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents
