About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team on night shifts. This is a permanent position offering 22 to 44 hours per week, with shifts available during the night. The role involves assessing residents' needs, developing person-centered care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of care and dignity for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and evaluate personalized nursing care to meet individual needs.
• Administer medication safely, with ongoing training provided to ensure competency.
• Support and supervise care team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Maintain respectful and dignified treatment of residents, upholding their rights to privacy, independence, and choice.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and external professionals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in elderly or dementia care preferred.
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable; Level 2 qualified candidates will be supported to achieve Level 3.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay rate: £13.80 per hour (NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care).
• Additional pay for NVQ Level 2: £12.81 per hour.
