This is a role for a Senior Care Assistant to work nights at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and working alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be on monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting their care, and ensuring that new needs are met. You will be involved in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans. Additionally, you will support residents with their medication requirements, undertake staff supervisions, and act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals.

• Acting as a key point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.
