At Canford Healthcare we specialise in providing quality residential and specialist care services across our group of care homes. A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Care Assistant/ Med Technician to become part of our growing team at Cedars Care Home.
This is a full time night shift position, working 3 x 12-hour shifts from 8.00pm to 8.00am each week.

You will provide highest possible standards of care and service to all residents, in addition to a supervisory role. As a Senior Care Assistant/ Med Technician, you will be in charge of a shift of workers and take responsibility for the smooth running of services whilst on duty. You will administer prescribed drugs in accordance with NMC Guidelines and Company Policy and Procedure. You will respond to emergencies and provide guidance and support to Care Assistants under the supervision of qualified Nursing Staff.
You will have a Medication Administration qualification and have a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role and ideally an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
