Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team and deliver person-centred care across our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. You will know residents and families, helping to craft care plans that promote security, dignity and independence.

You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, provide engaging activities, and ensure accurate records while maintaining high standards of care and compassion across all interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care.
• Ability to plan and implement personalised care plans.
• Excellent record keeping and time management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents’ families.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care.
• Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in daily delivery of care.
• Administer medication as required.
• Provide physical and mental stimulation through activities and social engagement.
• Build strong relationships with the team and residents.
