Orchard Healthcare Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant at our Preston home. You will lead a care team, assess resident needs, and develop person-centred care plans while delivering medical, physical and emotional support to residents.
The role emphasises supervising staff, mentoring colleagues and maintaining best practices in a busy residential setting. A Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification is essential and commitment to ongoing professional development is expected.

Responsabilités
- Lead and support the care team to deliver high-quality care.
- Administer medication safely and accurately.
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing and update care records.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and families.
- Support residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities.
- Ensure the home remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
- Promote dignity, independence and choice for residents.
- Participate in audits, inspections and team meetings.
