Job summary

Barchester Healthcare in Newark on Trent is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to oversee Care Assistants and support the clinical team with medications, assessments and care plans. You’ll champion personalised care and dignity for residents in a warm, welcoming home environment.

You’ll bring an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and a patient-focused approach, with opportunities for ongoing training and progression within our care homes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is required.
• Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly is essential.
• Candidates should be warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to personalised care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Ensure residents receive dignity, respect and individualised care.
