Job summary

Aspen Court Care Home, part of Willinbrook Healthcare (Care Concern Group), seeks a Senior Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You will support individuals with complex needs, oversee medication, and help manage shifts in a supportive team environment.

Role requires confident, calm, and resilient approach, with strong communication and collaboration with families and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 minimum in Health & Social Care; Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards it.
• Medication administration training with competency.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team in a care environment.
• Confidence supporting individuals with complex needs, including mental health or behavioural support.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Calm, patient, and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high quality, person-centred care for individuals with complex needs.
• Oversee medication administration and ensure safe care delivery.
• Maintain care plans, accurate records, and effective communication with families and healthcare professionals.
• Support and guide Care Assistants to maintain a calm, stable environment.
