Job description

Our homes provide the right environment for our Senior Care Assistants to deliver the outstanding care our residents deserve. You'll provide first-class care and contribute to the smooth running of our home, leading shifts in the absence of the Nurse. Each of our residents is unique, and you'll develop person-centred care plans to meet their individual mental, physical, social, and emotional needs.

Main duties of the job

In this varied and fast-paced Senior Care Assistant role, you'll help lead, motivate, and support colleagues, using your knowledge and expertise to role model excellent standards of care. You'll enjoy building positive relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families, and share our commitment to creating an inclusive culture where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

Ideally, you'll have experience working with older adults in a residential or nursing setting. We provide 24-hour care, so you'll need the flexibility to work shift patterns, including weekends. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent would be an advantage but isn't essential, as we can provide the opportunity to study towards this qualification.
