This role will be based at Tanworth Court, in the heart of Solihull. The home is designed to cater to the needs of 60 residents with various age-related conditions, physical disabilities, mental health conditions, and some with Dementia. Candidates must be patient, understanding, and respectful of residents' individual abilities.

Responsibilities of our Senior Care Assistant include:

1. Leading and supporting your care team to ensure high-quality care for residents
2. Reviewing and updating care plans through continuous assessment, planning, and evaluation
3. Engaging with residents respectfully, valuing their dignity and communication differences
4. Administering and accurately recording medication as prescribed
5. Preserving and promoting residents' dignity and independence
6. Encouraging residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life
7. Involving residents in discussions about their daily living arrangements
8. Assisting with personal care when necessary

What we’re looking for in our Senior Care Assistant:

Candidates should have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a positive impact. Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is essential. Leadership or supervisory experience is not required, as full training and mentoring will be provided. Candidates must be patient, understanding, and respectful of residents' individual abilities.
