Job summary

Windsor Court Care Home in Stockton-on-Tees is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to provide high-quality personal care for elderly residents, including those with dementia. You will administer medications for 32 residents and coordinate care with visiting professionals to support investigations.

You will update shift records, delegate duties to fellow carers, and ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard while remaining calm in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to elderly residents, including those with dementia.
• Administer medication to 32 residents as required.
• Deal with visiting professionals and assist them with investigations.
• Be welcoming and polite to all visiting relatives.
• Update all records for the shift and delegate duties to other carers.
• Ensure all work expected to be done in the shift is carried out to the highest quality.
• Be aware of actions to take in emergencies.
