As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assessing individual needs and formulating person-centred care plans, ensuring that medical, physical, and emotional needs are met. Administering medication safely is paramount, and all our senior care assistants are provided with additional training to ensure competency and knowledge of the medications used in our homes.
You should have previous care experience, preferably within Older People’s care or a dementia setting. It is preferable to hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. However, if you are qualified to Level 2, we will support you to achieve Level 3 through our career pathway.
