Highgate Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to work days at The Limes, Driffield, delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents in a compassionate team.

Flexibility for some evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Warm, approachable and positive.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities ensuring dignity.
• Train and supervise junior staff and new team members.
• Assist residents with mobility, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Monitor residents to manage confusion or behavioural issues.
• Assist in continence promotion.
• Maintain care plans and daily written records.
