We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support the Home Manager, Deputy, and Assistant Manager in all aspects of the home's management, while supporting residents with personal care, and ensuring the training and development of staff.

Rate of Pay
Weekdays £14.30
Weekends £14.80

Contract Type
Permanent

Full Time at 36 Hours

Duties And Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

  • Assist the Manager, Deputy Manager, and Assistant Manager in the efficient and caring operation of the home in their absence.
  • Conduct handovers and ensure all residents are accounted for at the start and end of shifts.
  • Contribute to the effective running of the home and foster a positive atmosphere by leading by example.
  • Support staff training and development, implementing and monitoring in-house training programs to high standards.
  • Assist residents with personal care, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Support residents in using the environment according to their care plans and Mobile Care Monitoring System (MCM).
  • Promote all aspects of personal care with dignity and respect.

Essential Skills, Characteristics, and Experience

  • Minimum of NVQ Level 2, working towards NVQ Level 3 or above.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff; a team player.
  • Effective communication and interaction skills with residents and staff.
