Aspen Court Nursing and Dementia Care Home seeks a Senior Care Assistant in Taunton to support complex needs residents with dignity and person-centred care. You will run shifts, supervise staff, and ensure safe, well-organised care in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Medication administration training with competency.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team within a care environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Support delivery of high quality, person-centred care for residents with complex needs.
• Oversee medication administration and ensure safe care during shifts.
• Follow care plans, maintain accurate records and communicate with families and healthcare professionals.
• Guide and support Care Assistants to maintain a calm, stable environment.
