Qualifications

Senior Care Assistant – Days

P4 Recruitment

Location: Lancaster

Pay: £13.85 per hour + Overtime at £15.35

Annual Salary: £27,727.70 (base) / up to £30,248.40 with paid breaks*

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 8am–8pm | Two-week rolling rota

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Overview

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistants to join the day team within a modern, purpose-built care home in the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident care professional to take on leadership responsibility, support colleagues, and ensure residents receive the highest standard of person-centred care.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor care staff during day shifts
  • Administer medication and provide personal care support
  • Monitor and report on residents’ health and wellbeing
  • Conduct risk assessments and update care plans as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and CQC standards
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and families
