The Role:
We are currently seeking a Senior Care Assistant to guide and direct a small team to ensure high standards of care are achieved and maintained, and to oversee the smooth running of a specific floor during each shift.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will have a high level of responsibility including managing and administering medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans, mentoring less experienced staff, conducting return to work discussions, and staff supervisions.
This is a busy role where our residents' needs will be your top priority. You will quickly become part of the care home family, and our team members are what make our home a great place to live and work!
Hours of work:
Your hours will be 08:00 – 20:00, on a rolling rota of three shifts on, three shifts off, averaging 42 hours per week.
Candidate Requirements:
You should have achieved or be working towards a Diploma/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care to demonstrate your commitment and passion for care. You should also be excited about working as part of a dynamic team, ensuring the home adheres to necessary requirements and procedures as the senior in charge.
