Job summary

Aurem Care is seeking a dedicated care supervisor to support residents and lead care assistants in delivering compassionate, person-centred care. You will supervise a team, help plan resident care, and contribute to induction and ongoing training.

The role requires prior senior care experience, a caring attitude, and the ability to work well in a team or independently to ensure high standards of service for our residents.

Qualifications

• Must have previous senior care experience.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 desirable or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in Medication management.
• Enthusiastic about providing care and supporting residents.

What does the job role involve?

We understand that care roles are demanding, and we are looking for candidates who are able to support our residents to remain active and independent which includes but is not limited to:

• Caring and supporting our amazing residents in their journey with Aurem Care.
• Providing personal care, social support and making impactful and heartwarming memories.
• Ensuring the needs of our residents are met through the use of our electronic care platform “Nourish”
• Work within a committed team member
• Showing positive caring values in all aspects of practice
• To supervise, guide and support a group of care assistants.
• To assist in the planning and monitoring of resident care.
• Assist with care assistant induction programme and Core Training Programme
• Any ad hoc duties to meet service delivery for our residents.

What makes a successful candidate:

• Must have previous senior care experience
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 desirable or willingness to obtain
• Experience in Medication management
• Enthusiastic about providing care
• Great values and compassion for supporting people
• You will be able to work well as part of a team and independently showing creativity and passion for the work you do
• Great communication skills
• Be able to follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities
• Engage well with people we support in their continuing interests and supporting positive experiences

What we can offer you in return for your hardwork and commitment:

• Bank contract, flexible working on days/nights or weekends
• We are currently offering 36 hours per week, inclusive of weekend work (bank hours also on offer)
• Working hours: 7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am
• Hourly rate: £13.07 per hour
