Job summary

As a Senior Care Assistant at RMBI Care Co., you’ll be at the heart of making the home feel truly welcoming for residents. Working nights, you’ll support the Team Leader and colleagues to deliver daily care with dignity and compassion in Connaught Court, Fulford, York.

This role values hands-on empathy, clear communication, and a calm presence, with training and DBS checks. The position is full-time at 33.75 hours per week, offering an opportunity to grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Genuine care and empathy for residents
• Confidence to guide and support colleagues
• Calm, clear communication with residents, families and team
• Positive, flexible attitude and willingness to help
• Strong attention to detail and timely action for residents’ wellbeing

Responsibilities

• Support residents and colleagues, working with the Team Leader to deliver consistent, person-centred care
• Provide high-quality care during night shifts and ensure residents’ comfort and safety
• Assist with daily activities, monitoring wellbeing and reporting changes
