We are seeking applicants who live in Weymouth and surrounding areas for a full-time vacancy offering a competitive salary of £12.00 per hour. You must be able to work alternate weekends.

About the Role:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will supervise and lead a team of care assistants to ensure they are supported and have clear guidance during each shift.
You will be responsible for ensuring residents receive quality, person-centred care in line with their care plans, and administering medication according to company policy. You will ensure that all practices follow Health & Safety and infection control guidelines.
As a senior team member, you will identify and report any changes in resident needs to management and act as an escalation point for incidents or emergencies when necessary.
About You:
We are looking for Senior Care Assistants to join our team and help us make a difference in the lives of vulnerable people.
You should be qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 and have achieved or be working towards NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.
Applicants should have at least two years' experience working in social care, preferably with individuals over 65.
Additionally, you should have demonstrable knowledge and experience of dementia, excellent communication skills, and a genuine ability to show empathy to those under your care.
We require that you have a minimum of 24 months remaining on your right to work upon application.
