As a Senior Care Assistant, your role is crucial to our home. You will lead Care Assistants in delivering high-quality, personal care to residents, while also inspiring, developing, and nurturing them to excel every day.

We will train you on our new digital care systems, transforming our work processes to focus more on clinical excellence and resident care. With over 75 years of healthcare expertise, we are committed to ongoing training in clinical and social care developments, learning from industry leaders. It’s an exciting time to join us.

You’ll help us make health happen by:
  • Managing a unit on a daily basis
  • Supporting clinical duties, including assisting nurses with medication, care plan reviews, and accurate record keeping
  • Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including shift handovers
  • Training and supervising new staff to ensure they feel welcomed and supported
  • Building relationships with residents, families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses
  • Assisting residents with personal care duties
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
  • Completed or working towards an NVQ3 in care; we support you in completing this qualification if needed
  • Motivated, positive, with excellent interpersonal skills, and comfortable working in a close-knit team
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with an understanding of its rewards and challenges, and a passion for making a difference in people's lives through kindness, personalized support, and dignity
