About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. You will work across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Our staff understand that residents are individuals with their own stories, and joining us gives you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Tasks include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, and communication with families, always with kindness.
You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through activities, and administering medication. Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key parts of your role.
Ideal candidates will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. Your positive energy, time management skills, and kindness are essential. Good record-keeping and effective communication are also important.
