ABOUT THE ROLE

Your role as a Senior Care Assistant will involve supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring residents' wellbeing, recognizing any changes affecting care and updating care plans accordingly.
  • Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementation, monitoring, and monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with medication requirements.
  • Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
  • Being a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated.
ABOUT YOU

To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
  • Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Possess a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Be responsive and flexible to various responsibilities.
