About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Each team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to them.
Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at end-of-life, or communicating with families, you will do so with kindness.
You will assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records.
Ideal candidates will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to work towards Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. The key qualities include positive energy, good record-keeping, effective time management, and kindness in communication.
