What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
  • Flexible working with alternative weekends

A day in the life of a Senior Home Care Assistant

  • Health and Wellbeing - You will provide support , companionship, conversation and engagement with your clients
  • Personal care - You will support your clients with bathing, dressing and oral care
  • Meals and domestic tasks - You will help the client to prepare and eat healthy meals, snacks and beverages. You will assist in light cleaning tasks
  • Mobility - You will support the client with moving around their home to enable them to live as independently as possible .
  • Social activities - You will encourage and support with trips out, social engagements and activities in the client's home
  • Medication - You will prompt, assist or administer medications and creams
  • Mentorship - As a senior care assistant you will support new staff in their induction period and mentor them
  • Spot checks - You will occasionally carry out spot checks and supervisions as directed by your Registered Manager
